Martial
arts are well established and widely accepted by the modern world today. Many instructors of the various martial arts
have established their solid foundations in the martial arts’ industry
and are
full time professional martial arts’ instructor.
There
are hundreds of thousands of martial arts’ practitioners in our country. Parents sending their children to martial
arts class on those days and they are still doing so today. Looking deeper into it, martial art
practitioners today are made up of majority children under the age of
18,
follows by minority of age 19 – 25. This
has been indicated that martial arts practitioners are still under
their
education period; regardless of the majority group of Primary and
Secondary
pupils or the minority group of College and University students.
Where
are the parents now?
Overall
of the working adult martial art practitioners made up of less than 15%
of the
total amount of martial art practitioners. Where
have the grown-up, parents and careered adults? Mainly
of them are unable to adapt to the
aggressiveness of martial arts training anymore although they would
like to
equip themselves with more Self-Defence skills through martial arts. In result, they would look into the sports
and exercises that would suit well to their body conditions and not the
art
that their body should fit well to it.
